Decorating a wide open wedding reception hall can be overwhelming, and get expensive fast. Instead of trying to fill the space with costly flower arrangements and wedding rental items, look for affordable, huge decorations that can be done for the cost of supplies & a little time.
Because decorating from scratch can be tricky, today I’m sharing two wonderful resources for decorating a large, empty wedding reception space. Read on for links and to my go-to solutions for this common wedding planning hurdle!
To start, PaperMart.com is an awesome wedding planning resource! A package of 480 sheets of premium colored tissue starts at $24, and a bolt of 50 yards of 4′ wide tulle is just $16. Both are available in dozens of custom colors, shipping is FAST, and the quality is amazing. Sound good?
Visit papermart.com via this link, and they will set you up with all the tulle + tissue!
Moving to my second tip for decorating a large reception space, DIY-style tissue flowers, garlands, and backdrops. I love this idea because it is fun, affordable, and a really easy way to cover huge, empty walls.
